Company Information and Branding Settings in LeanLaw
How to update your firm's company information, logo, billing address, and contact details in LeanLaw — and how these settings affect invoices, email communications, and the product interface.
Your firm's company information in LeanLaw controls how your firm appears on client invoices, in invoice email communications, and in other client-facing outputs. Keeping this information current ensures professional, accurate communications.
Accessing Firm Info Settings
- Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the top right to open Settings.
- In the left-hand menu under Firm Setup, click Firm Info (or Company Info).

Firm Logo
Your firm's logo is uploaded in Firm Info settings and is used across:
- LeanLaw Invoice PDF templates — appears in the header of client-facing invoices.
- Invoice email communications — appears at the top of emails sent via LeanLaw's email service.
- Confido Legal payment pages — if your firm uses Lean Align, the logo appears on client payment and trust request pages.
To update the logo:
- Go to Settings → Invoice Email.
- Select Email Settings at the top
- Find the Logo upload field in the Body of the Email.
- Upload your firm's logo file (PNG or JPG recommended; Images will be automatically resized to fit a max width of 500px or a max height of 374px. For best results, use an image with a 4:3 aspect ratio (a wide rectangle)).
- Save Changes.

💡 Logo propagation: Once uploaded, your logo automatically appears in all active invoice templates and email settings that reference the firm logo. You don't need to update each template individually. |
Time Entry Display and Rounding
Firm Info also includes basic time entry display preferences such as:
- Default time increment: Whether time is tracked in 0.01-hour (1-minute) increments, 0.1-hour (6-minute), 0.25-hour (15-minute) increments, or 0.5-hour (30-minute) increments.
- Enforced Rounding rules: Time entries will only be accepted when in increments of the selected rounding settings.
